Hiring Behavior Technician/ Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Part-time Opportunities Job Description
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)/ Behavior Technician to join our team. As an BT/RBT, you will work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement individualized treatment plans and provide direct services to individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals and their families.
Responsibilities:
- Implement individualized treatment plans developed by the BCBA
- Provide direct one-on-one therapy to individuals with ASD and other developmental disabilities
- Collect and record data on client's progress and behavior
- Collaborate with the BCBA to modify intervention plans as needed
- Maintain a professional and ethical behavior at all times
Requirements:
- Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) with a valid certification is plus or willing to obtain a certification.
- High-school diploma or GED is a must.
- Bachelor's degree in psychology, education, or related field is preferred
- Experience working with individuals with ASD or other developmental disabilities is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to client's location ( no more than 5-10 miles)
- Must pass a background check
